In Greece there is a unique variety, the Koroneiki olive tree that in combination with the Mediterranean climate, produces one of the finest olive oils in the world.
The oil from the Koroneiki variety has low acidity (less than 0.4%), complex intense aroma and rich flavour.
An excitingly fruity taste, vivid colors, and a peppery finish reflecting intensely the micro climate and terroir of the region in which it was produced make the Koroneiki olive oil a great oil.
Koroneiki variety of olives is mainly cultivated in Crete and south Peloponnese, in Greece.
